Dealing with stress, loss, anxiety or tragedy is a part of our world. No matter what stage of your life you are in, it’s inevitable, it will happen. No matter what, we all have to learn how to cope with these difficult situations. Some people can smile through the day and continue to focus. Others will shut down and let the emotions take over. There is no rhyme or reason, some people are just better at coping than others and whether it’s because of your family, friends or environment, only you know what works.
There are two powerful strategies most people will follow which are also pretty opposite. Mindfulness and Religion each have a huge following. The people that believe in them completely trust in their direction and guidance. There are spiritual components to each and a sense of peace. They both even have their own level of trust.
