Americans are always on the go. They never stop in their busy day to day lives.
There is no break to refuel during the day. Other countries actually have rituals each day in the form of a break for a coffee and a snack. Breaks like that during the day make for happier, healthier people. Let’s face it, a nice little pause during the day gives way to new energy and a bright approach to the rest of the day. Think about how refreshed you are when you wake up the morning to start your day and imagine being able to do the same in the afternoon. How much better would you feel?
This idea is a form of mindfulness called Hyggee. It involves doing or eating something you like and that in turn helps you to enjoy your day and the activity you are participating in. You then continue your day in the most
productive way.
