Practicing mindfulness since 1998, he has trained nearly 500 mindfulness teachers and pioneered online mindfulness teacher training with his program Teach Mindfulness Online. Based in London, Shamash has studied under renowned teachers like Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh and Jon Kabat-Zinn and holds advanced qualifications in mindfulness-based approaches. He is also a Certified Tiny Habits Coach and an expert in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
