Product Information

James Hillman is a psychologist and author of The Soul's Code, recently at the top of the New York Times bestseller list. His essay "Going Bugs" is a classic exposition of the meaning of bugs in the human psyche. Hillman examines the role that bugs - insects and creepy-crawlies - play in dreams and how human reaction to them is symptomatic of larger concerns about animals and the natural world. Satya talked with him recently about bugs and the ducks and chickens with whom he lives in eastern Connecticut.

good talk from a luminary

Perhaps not for the beginner, this tape is very good. Each sentence is a goldmine: classic Hillman, whose legacy is here being preserved

As usual stellar content from James Hillman, audiobook quality leaves a fair bit to be desired ho...

A brilliant speech on bugs by James Hillman. Though there are some flaws with the recording - e.g. you can't hear the audience questions, only Hillman's response - it is well worth getting. Though I think that his work should not only be free of charge (where are the profits going considering he's passed on?), they should be forced upon the general population for their own good.
