Continuing Education (CE) credits are mandated by US states and professional organizations for members of certain professions as part of a license or certification renewal process. Most states require continuing education as a means of insuring professionals stay current with the latest practices and research in their field. The credits offered by BetterListen! are generally valid for counselors, social workers, and psychologists. We do not offer continuing medical education credits.
BetterListen! offers unique and interesting content for health and healing professionals, allowing you to earn the credits you need at your own pace. Purchase the course along with the credits and take the required exams at your convenience.

Please note that BetterListen! CE credits are valid only in the U.S. You may purchase the CE credits separately or together with the course. You will earn approximately one CE credit for each contact hour of the course. Please note, if you have already purchased one of these courses, you may be eligible for CE credits without having to repurchase the course.
After purchasing the credits at BetterListen!, you will receive an email from customerservice@academeca.com, Cassidy Strategic. In that email you will receive login credentials and a link to the Academeca website of Cassidy Strategic, which will guide you through the process of earning your credits including an online multiple-choice exam.
Note: please keep that email on file for future access to the exam.
Once you have taken the course, you can take the required test any number of times over a 12-month period. After you pass the exam, you will be able to print out a certificate of completion as evidence that you completed the course.

Participants must have paid course fee, submitted signed verification statement, completed evaluation, and completed post-test with passing grade of 75% in order to receive a certificate. Failure to complete and submit these materials will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available.
Psychologists
R. Cassidy Seminars is approved by the American Psychological Association (APA) to offer continuing education for psychologists. R. Cassidy Seminars maintains responsibility for this program.
Social Workers
R. Cassidy Seminars, ACE provider #1082, is approved as a provider for social work continuing education by the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB) www.aswb.org, through the Approved Continuing Education (ACE) Program. R. Cassidy Seminars maintains responsibility for the program. Approval Period: April 15, 2015-April 15, 2018. Social workers should contact their regulatory board to determine course approval. Other States: If your state is not specifically listed, nearly all state Counselor and MFT boards accept either APA or ASWB approval, or are reciprocal with other state licensing board approvals, such as those listed below. Check with your board to be sure. The Ohio Board includes Counselors.
