Knellee Bisram, M.A. is a Professor of Social Sciences, an International Development Consultant, and Founder and CEO of AHAM Education. She has been a student of meditation, Present Moment Awareness (Mindfulness), and other mind body modalities for over 30 years.
Knellee left her career in International Relations to dedicate her efforts to her work with AHAM Education, a transnational social investment initiative empowering youth and underserved individuals with evidence-based tools that cultivate presence, positivity and peace in the Americas.
A Certified Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction instructor, she has designed Mindfulness-Based curricula and taught Mindfulness and Emotional Intelligence to youth and disabled individuals, teachers, counselors, health practitioners, veterans, business and community leaders in English and Spanish throughout the Americas. Knellee is also a Center for Mind Body Medicine instructor teaching mind-body modalities for post-traumatic healing, and currently serves as co-chair of the Mind-Body Resiliency Coalition for Broward Children’s Strategic Plan, and member of Broward County Public Schools’ Superintendent’s Mindfulness Initiative.
She holds a BA in languages, and a MA in International Relations and Latin American Studies, and speaks fluent French, Spanish and Portuguese.
