These recordings are from a rare and inspiring five day retreat held in 1982. At the event were other speakers including Stephen Levine - they all convened and shared thoughts on this timeless and evocative topic. These are the first of the offerings from this iconic gathering.

The series available here are all of Ram Dass's solo talks from that week. We have extracted his teachings and weaved them into this rich and meaningful offering. The running time is approximately 4 hours.

Topics covered in these recordings:

Part 1 - Includes a meditation and then Ram Dass discusses the death of Swami Muktananda and stories about his encounters with him.
Part 2 - In this section Ram Dass talks about social action. He also talks about weapons, nuclear issues and possible solutions for dealing with war.
Part 3 - Ram Dass speaks about the mind. He discusses how to change one's thinking and be more accepting of others.
Part 4 - How Gurus get their information and many stories of Maharaji.  Ram Dass talks about how to listen and finishes up with a light meditation.

More inspired content will be available from these original recordings in the coming weeks.
