Pema Chodron, one of the west's most admired and accessible Buddhist teachers, is widely known for her charming and down-to-earth interpretation of Tibetan Buddhism for Western audiences, offering teachings on meditation and how they apply to everyday life.  

 

Pema Chödrön is an American ordained Buddhist nun in the Tibetan Vajrayana tradition, and a teacher in the lineage of her beloved teacher Chögyam Trungpa.  She is resident director at Gampo Abbey monastery in Nova Scotia, and conducts workshops and meditation retreats worldwide.  Pema Chodron is the author of several books and audiobooks, including When Things Fall Apart, The Places That Scare You, No Time to Lose, Don't Bite the Hook and Perfect Just as You Are, among others.
